Just a few days ago the launch of the OnePlus 8T took place. Now we are hearing the rumors that it is launching a successor to the OnePlus 8 series i.e OnePlus 9 series. OnePlus 9 launch is expected to launch in the coming year’s mid-march.
After taking a deeper dive we find that OnePlus is launching more products than it used to launch a few years ago. The usual launch of OnePlus devices is in the months of May-June. This year they have launched the OnePlus 8 series in April. Soon the new line-up will be launched in March. However, no reason is specified.
But a report from Android Central states that this move is inspired by Samsung as it is planning to launch the S21 series in March instead of March. OnePlus is also likely to launch OnePlus 9 Pro under OnePlus 9 series as a successor to OnePlus 8 Pro. Currently, the smartphone maker has made no official confirmation about the OnePlus 9 launch.
As far as specs are concerned apart from having Snapdragon 875 Soc and faster 65 Watt charging with 120Hz display being regular in the new line-up, nothing else can be confirmed. It is also said the OnePlus 9 Pro will have a better camera than the predecessor while using the same lens (Don’t worry the same thing is done by Apple and Google and you know the results).
However, this move could actually make a lot of sense as launching the phone in March would give OnePlus a better chance against its competitors who are planning to launch their flagship phones earlier than usual.
Besides, the company is tipped to launch the OnePlus Nord N10 5G and N100, with the former set to offer Snapdragon 690 power while the latter is purportedly using the Snapdragon 460 chipset.
