The first steps of Realme started off as a sub-brand of Oppo. Soon it became an independent brand and a direct competitor against Xiaomi devices in the international market and especially with Redmi devices in India.
Now, we have a new line-up of smartphones by them, i.e. X7 series. This is confirmed by the tweet made by the Realme CEO(India and Europe), Madhav Sheth. He tweeted, Realme was the first to introduce a 5G smartphone in India with Realme X50 Pro and X7 series will “democratize 5G technology in 2021.”
Specifications and Build
Most of the specifications are the same for both phones, though there are minor differences in them. Moving on, the Realme X7 has a 4300 mAh battery and Realme X7 Pro has a 4500 mAh battery. Both of them have fast charging abilities with 65Watt Super Dart Charging. The Realme X7 and X7 Pro have 6.4inch and 6.55inch screens, respectively. Both the devices have a Full-HD+ AMOLED display. Whereas, the Realme X7 Pro has a 120Hz refresh rate. The Realme X7 has MediaTek Dimensity 800U octa-core SoC. The Pro variant comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ octa-core SoC. The Realme X7 series is launched in China, September 2020. The possible Indian variants are 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM for X7 and up to 256GB for the Pro version.
Camera and Connectivity
In terms of cameras, the Realme X7 series has a quad-camera setup. Similar to most mid-range phones from Realme like Narzo 20 Pro and Realme 7 Pro.
The rear camera modules consist of a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide-angle f/2.3 lens, 2MP black and white portrait sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, they will have a 32MP punch-hole shooter. There can be a few minor changes in the cameras of two phones.
Other features on the Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro include 5G on both SIM cards, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and more.
