Vivo V20 Launched in India

Vivo V20 has been launched in India as the latest smartphone by the company in the V series. Vivo V20 will run on Android 11 out of the box. If we see the highlights of the Vivo V20 specification, it has 44-megapixel autofocus selfie camera, matte glass design, and a 4,000mAh battery.

Vivo is an electronics company owned by BBK Electronics along with its siblings Oppo, OnePlus, and RealMe. It is a Chinese brand but with some industry-changing and leading engineering. They have always pushed their limits and proved its place in the smartphone market.

It was the first to launch a pop-up camera, the first to make the world’s slimmest phone, and also the first to introduce an in-display fingerprint camera. Not to forget its 20MP moonlight selfie camera which came with Vivo V5 series.

Vivo V20 Specification and Build

Vivo V20 measures 161.3 mm x 74.2 mm x 7.4 mm (height x width x thickness) and it will weigh around 171 grams. It comes with a 6.44-inch Full HD+AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Vivo V20 has a peak brightness of 409ppi.

It is also a Dual SIM variant with 8GM RAM and 128GB ROM which can be expanded using a MicroSD card. Vivo V20 functions on Octa-core Kryo 465 Dual-core and Hexa Core running at a clock speed of 2.3GHz and 1.8GHz. It is also powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, 8GB RAM, and Adreno 618 GPU offering a flawless multitasking experience.

This introduction of Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series with G variant has to lead to a decrease in the price of these flagship phones (WellDone!!). It has a 4000 mAh battery that charges the device very fast. Furthermore, the phone will run Funtouch OS 11 based on the Android 11 operating system.

Connectivity options on the Vivo V20 include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, USB OTG, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India).

Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo V20 supports face unlock.

Vivo V20 Camera

This year Vivo announced its “Gimbal Camera” with X50 Pro. It stated it would have stabilization than standard OIS. The Vivo V20 on the rear packs a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.89 aperture; a second 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a third 2-megapixel depth camera with an f/2.,4 aperture. (Who needs a 2MP camera in 2020?) The rear camera setup has autofocus.

It also sports a 44-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.0 aperture. The entire rear camera setup offers a wide variety of features like Phase Detection, Dual-colour LED Flash, Digital Zoom, Touch to focus, HDR mode, Face detection, and more, on the front, it is capable of capturing realistic self-portraits.

Vivo V20 Price in India

Vivo V20 price in India has been set Rs 24,990 for the base variant, is an impeccable deal from the brand. The powerful 8GB RAM accompanied by 128GB expandable internal storage allows users to download multiple apps and get them running with ease.

The stunning camera setup on the rear side and the 44MP selfie shooter on the front make it quite a head-turner. Moreover, its 33W v2.0 Flash Charging technology that charges the device in real-time. It comes in 3 colour options Sunset Melody, Midnight Jazz, and Moonlight Sonata.
